The joys of ADHD and a 3d Printer.
A friend of mine dropped by one day and said “Do you want a 3d printer?” of course my reply was a big “Hell YES!” haha. Now I’m hooked.
I must have had some sort of horseshoe up my ass because a few weeks later I was talking to a friend of mine at the radio club and he said hang on. He left for a few minutes and came back with two spools of filament. It took a while to get everything dialed in and tuned up but I’ve basically been running the thin non-stop since.
You can see one of my first designs in the photo above. It’s a call sign wall plate designed to put on the wall in your shack or anywhere really. It has screw holes if you need them.
I am still working on getting these to print at a bit higher quality. Why? Because ADHD never lets me stop. The design made in Tinker CAD if you want to play with it and make it your own it available on Thingiverse.
